The setting was particularly good, near restaurants, shops and restaurants, and a beautiful area. The room we were upgraded at no charge to was fairly quiet and included an electric kettle, central heating, and an iron.

The room at Tanleys Guesthouse was absolutely cozy and comfortable. I loved the mountain view from the balcony, it was so calming. The desk and flat-screen TV made it convenient for me to work and relax. The private bathroom was clean and the bed linen and towels were fresh. I felt right at home.
I personally didn't use the electric kettle in the double room, but that's just my preference.

We had a delightful stay in a quiet rural location. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-appointed, each with its own bathroom. The host, Jane, was welcoming and accommodating, providing us with extra amenities like cutlery and a cutting board. The breakfasts were delicious and plentiful, using fresh local produce and brand name products. The lounge and dining area were spacious and gave us a sense of having our own cottage. The surrounding wildlife, such as deer, added to the charm of the location.

We had a great stay at Tanleys. There were 4 of us - wife and me, and 2 'kids' , which fitted the 2 double rooms perfectly. Both rooms were very comfortable with excellent bathroom facilities, filtered water, tea, coffee, and biscuits. Tanleys Guesthouse is well located in a peaceful and quiet setting, close enough to shops and restaurants. Jane was very friendly and helpful, going out of her way to make us feel welcome. We enjoyed the guest lounge and dining area, and meeting the two friendly dogs.
I totally recommend this hotel.
